What day will Lady Links play?

Wednesdays will be the designated play day for Lady Links during the week. There will be a $20.00 fee which is paid to the Pro Shop before teeing off for your cart and green fees. Credit cards, checks (made out to SouthWood Golf Club) or cash will be accepted. We also take 5.00 cash and put towards our prizes which are given out quarterly. The 5.00 is paid to the person that is in charge for that particular outing.

Will there be weekend outings?

YES – Every month there will be two (2) weekend outings usually at SouthWood. The 18-hole fee at SouthWood will be $40.00 that is paid to the Pro Shop before teeing off which covers your cart and green fee. Also, we offer 9 holes on the weekends. $20.00 is paid to the pro shop for your cart and greens fee. You will need to pay 5.00 in cash to the prize kitty. We also will have some weekend outings at various local courses that could be both 9 & 18 holes – the fees for these away outings will vary depending on the Golf Course. You will be given all the details prior to the event. Just check your schedule so you don’t miss out on anything.

How do I sign up for golf outings?

For WEDNESDAY Outings You MUST CALL our office by 12:00 NOON on Monday and for WEEKEND outings you MUST CALL our office by 12:00 NOON on Wednesday. Our office number is 309-PUTT (7888). You will be notified by phone or e-mail of your exact tee time. Please report to SouthWood no later than 15 minutes prior to your tee time.

How do I sign up for the golf schools?

Call our office at 309-PUTT (7888) at least 7 days prior to the golf school. This is a MUST so that we will have the necessary number of instructors.

What Is The Guest Policy?

Our Lady Links members are encouraged to bring guests to the outings. The guest fee will be $25.00 for our regular 9-hole outings and $45.00 for our regular 18-hole outings at SouthWood. Guests do not put in 5.00 towards the prizes since they are not eligible. Please let us know your guests name when you call to sign up. Also we ask that the same guest not come more than two (2) times in the year. We feel this would be unfair to other members.

What about prizes?

All winners will be awarded prizes quarterly.

What if I belong to Southwood?

If you are a SouthWood Golf Club Member you will not pay green fees. When you check in, you can charge your cart fee to your account. You will pay $5.00 to Lady Links which will go towards prizes.

What is the Hole-n-One Club?

If you choose to join the hole-n-one club, the fee is $5.00 for the year. The lady or ladies that get a hole-n-one during the year will get the cash pot at the end of the year. Your hole-n-one does not have to made at a Lady Links Event but will need to be reported to us. If a hole-n-one is not made, the money will go to a charity.

What if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel out of a particular golf outing, call our office at 309-7888 at least 4 hours prior to the outing. NO SHOWS AND NO CALLS WILL BE BILLED AN OUTING FEE.

What is the dress code?

No halter tops, denim, T-shirts, sweatpants, or short shorts are permitted.

Where do we turn our scorecards in?

Your scorecards can be turned in to the Lady Links’ Office when you finish your round of golf.

What to do in case of rain?

Call our office at 309-PUTT (7888) or the SouthWood Pro Shop at 942-GOLF (4653) to get a decision on whether or not the course is playable.
